Don’t get Life Insurance on its own

Life Insurance isn’t just about dying and leaving your family with enough to survive. It’s also about covering yourself in the event you have an accident and are permanently disabled.

In some ways this is even worse, because if you can’t work, AND you need intensive medical care, what the hell is going to happen to you and your family.

I can’t imagine becoming a paraplegic and what that would do to my family. But at least I know that since my life insurance cover includes this, I won’t be a financial burden to them as well. And I hate to think where I’d be if I didn’t have cover because this sort of care is very expensive.

So please check your life policy right now and make sure it’s has permanent disability cover. And if you don’t have life insurance at all, GET IT NOW. This is not meant to scare you, just a bit of a wake up call.
